Inside the Prison

This is again a very old piece of work. Nostalgia near Christmas is common I guess and in my case it got me to go through all my old art from when I was a teenager and post it here where I hope it'll be appreciated for the first time ever.

I did a whole series of images seen through the human eye into the soul where the true state of being was held safe. I originally wanted to do a triptych but suck at carving and had more than three ideas that I wanted to make solid. This is the first.

Even when you are safe and happy inside your own home with loved ones all around you, you can still feel smothered by how you live, feeling like you are imprisoned in your own home.
